Movie Report
Chillar Party is a film directed by Vikas Bahl and Nitesh Tiwari and co-produced by Salman Khan. Chillar Party attempts to focus entirely on kids. The film is made with an honest intentio and actually advocates a message on common class differences in society in the grab of entertainment.
The film revelas the story of a group of eight school-going children who lead a carefree and fun-filled life in Chandan Ngar Colony. Soon, Fatka and his pet Bheedu (a stray dog) come into their lives and they become an inseparable part of the Chillar Party.
One day, minister Bhide (Shashank Shende) comes to the society to inaugurate the playground. His personal assistant is harassed by dog Bheedu when the PA fires Fatka for loitering around and asks him to leave with his dog. He asks the he secretary of the housing society, to ensure that dog is not given a 'NOC' to stay in the society premises.
On this the kids resort to some unconventional activism to save their beloved dog. But will it be possible for the powerless kids to take on a high and mighty minister? Will they be able to get NOC for their dog, forms the rest part of the story.
Performance wise, all the kids are just superb in their performance. All the supporting casts playing the roles of parents are equally wonderful. The person playing the role of politician is convincing.
On the whole Chillar Party is a film with a nobel message by children. Kids as well as adults will love to watch this film.
